Darlo Uncovered Fund
Darlo Uncovered Fund
As we move ever closer to returning home it's time to think about how this money is spent. We're in the process of raising funds for the purchase of two dugouts by way of sponsorship and goal posts and nets will also be needed.
How do people feel about the sum raised to date being used to purchase these in the name of Darlo Uncovered? This will provide a long lasting reminder that this group funded a vital part of the new ground.
Do we know what the total stands at currently? If this could be pushed to £2,000 it would buy the posts and nets.

Re: Darlo Uncovered Fund
Can we buy one set bigger than the other and swap them at half time?

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Re: Darlo Uncovered Fund
Isn't the cost of the dugouts almost covered already by the "Brick in the Wall" & the "Name on a Seat" appeals? Should we ask the club what else is needed for the homecoming?

Cheers mate, the OP mentioned all three (dugouts, nets & goalposts).Undercovered wrote:It's for goal posts not dugouts
In that case, fine, I'll go along with the majority.

Nets and posts would be a decent legacy for the funds.

Do we go for the goal post and nets ?
All views welcome but the regular contributors should have the final say.

Be a bit odd if contributors weren't the ones to decide! Personally I'm quite easy about how it's used by the club. If it's for goalposts and nets I'm more than happy.

After looking at another thread, perhaps a good PA system might be a benefit to the fans...Or do the rugby club have that already
Re: Darlo Uncovered Fund
£1,635 is a great start and I'm sure you'll raise the additional £365 to buy the goals with ease.micra3 wrote:The uncovered fund currently stands at £1635divas wrote:As we move ever closer to returning home it's time to think about how this money is spent.
