Darlo v Worcester Match Thread

Post by Darlobaz79 » Sat Oct 22, 2016 1:20 pm

2 changes for Darlo with Burgess replacing Watson and Cartman replacing Hardy

Jameson, Marrs, Galbraith, Turnbull, Burgess, Brown, Thompson, Falkingham, Beck, Cartman, Gillies Subs: Davie, Bell, Watson, Hardy, Syers

This would pretty much be my first choice XI

I still use this thread when out and about. Sitting in a pub in Edinburgh keeping up with the score is invaluable. Please keep updates coming

Excellent performance - Worcester weren't in the game until the final 15 mins when weren't really trying. Defence looked much more solid (although ANOTHER soft goal), and going forwards we are really starting to click. Beck had his best game yet. Exciting stuff

Another game where we've failed to keep a clean sheet?

Improvement needed for Harrogate and Tamworth then!

Sort it out, Martin Gray!!!

As well as we've played. Beck and Cartman worked well together. I don't think anyone can match our delivery of crosses - Gillies, Thompson and Galbraith are all superb. Not a lot defences can do when the quality of the ball in is so good.

Excellent result, good game and some brilliant performances.
I think that was Turnbulls best game since his injury, ran the show in the first half.

I've just seen the highlights, some great deliveries into the box. Jameson must be disappointed in conceding that goal.

Out on holiday in Australia at present so any updates are really appreciated.

On a separate note can anyone remember a player from the mid 90's called Kenny Lowe? He is currently managing Perth Glory who are top of the Aussie Premiership. Their players include the likes of Andy Keough who seems to be scoring for fun at the moment.

In fairness any comments were when he played at RB and whilst I personally thought he done quite well during that time, watching Brown at CB and Marrs at RB shows where he should play.

Browny is one of those that keeps stepping up and gets better the higher we play, without doubt one of my favourite players over the years and a genuine great guy as well off the pitch.

The starting midfield today were excellent, I would be surprised if there is a better one in the league.

One player who has not been mentioned is Marrs, I thought he had an outstanding game today and seems to be getting better each week.

Marrs has been quality all season, heard some say they are not sure about him - I just can't see this, seems to be quality week in/week out.

I agree with you, Hunter will have his work cut out to dislodge him when he's fit
