I know DAFTS used to have something but not everyone is DAFTS
Wouldn't need to be anything fancy just a simple table of name of person offering lift, which match, their location and a way of contacting (email probably).
Users can then go in and update for matches theyknow they are going to etc.

Could make it into an away games info source. Iv found it really useful in the past when people have posted in rail offers for upcoming games and when cheap tickets become available on trainline. Then you could have updated info for the supporters club coaches info alongside it?

Yes a very good idea, as I quite often have spaces in my car for away games. So it would help people fill up their cars, save money for them and get more fans to away games.
