+1 making the trip looking forward to it. Seems to have been a shortage of games over the festive period.

Re: Halifax prices
At least two of us, probably three (collecting en route), possibly 5 if my mate gets a pass out.
Not sure what part of the ground we'll get. I don't think they open the old home end any more. So, the old away terrace is for home fans, and away fans either get the old seated stand (with the pillars), or part of the main stand. I expect there will be a decent crowd, and they haven't made any announcement, so who knows what they'll do.

Part of the main stand (north end) at least that is what they did against Kidderminster.dickdarlington wrote:At least two of us, probably three (collecting en route), possibly 5 if my mate gets a pass out.

I think the one with the pillars is condemned and you are right the home fans are in the south terrace and the north terrace is also shut.

Re: Halifax prices
I believe larger away followings get this stand.
Re: Halifax prices
Oh maybe they do - is that a recent photo. Thought that stand was closed it looks worse for wear. Might just be the north terrace that can't be used.

Re: Halifax prices
Depending on what your club/police liaison has told us.. then away fans will be placed as follow.
1) Followings under 300/low chances of trouble will be allocated one end of main stand.
2) Followings over 300/ex league clubs small chance of trouble will be in skircost stand( opposition main stand).. shocking toilet facilities lol.
3) followings 1000+ will get skircoat stand and also the north terrace(massive covered terrace)
You should only be charged £15 even though it's seating as fcum complained and the price was changed for them earlier in season.

It's not my website. It's Duncan Adam's website. I only posted a link to the site for informationmicra3 wrote:Took this today from spen666 websiteonewayup wrote:£16 seated, £15standing, £13 concessions, £5 under 12s how many are making the shortish trip

Re: Halifax prices
Shocked that I would have to pay £15 each for my 13 and 15 year old
Was planning on going but now not as £45 for an adult and 2 kids at this level is ridiculous and way more than every team in the league where the kids rates apply to under 16s not under12s

Re: Halifax prices
£17 for a seated adult is vastly overpriced.

Re: Halifax prices
They must be on a par with Div 2 prices surely, far too high for this level.

Re: Halifax prices
Definitely on par with the league above, but they offer hugely discounted season tickets to their fans which will be subsidised by large away followings (Stockport, FCUM, Darlo, Harrogate etc).QUAKERMAN2 wrote:They must be on a par with Div 2 prices surely, far too high for this level.

Due to their location they will tend to get much bigger away followings than us from teams that do not necessarily travel in numbers (Salford, Chorley, BPA etc).

Re: Halifax prices
Whilst it is more expensive than we're used to paying in recent times, I don't actually mind it. I'd be a bit more chewed if it was week in week out. At least it's the same price for everyone. What boils my p1s$ is when the likes of W£st and Norton/Stockton hiked the prices to fltry and fleece good honest folk.
Re: Halifax prices
£18 in to stand at York, it was the same price when they were in League Two.Darlofan97 wrote:Definitely on par with the league above, but they offer hugely discounted season tickets to their fans which will be subsidised by large away followings (Stockport, FCUM, Darlo, Harrogate etc).QUAKERMAN2 wrote:They must be on a par with Div 2 prices surely, far too high for this level.

Re: Halifax prices
Darlington rabbit doesn't it say under 17 is £6?? Or is that just on spens site? Mind you the font of all knowledge may be wrong as the prices on the official site are the ones you quote! I remember taking four lads all over the place in the league cup for £1 each.

If only we had a ground like the Shay. I was planning to go today, but too much alcohol last night ended those plans.

Re: Halifax prices
Well, there you have it. You learn something knew every day. Always thought Greendale was meant to be in the Yorkshire Dales somewhere. And in my defence, he, Ted and Mrs Goggins definitely had more of a Yorkshire twang than anything I've ever heard from a Cumbrian.ian_brown wrote:You're right. Pat is a Cumbrian. Re: Halifax prices
You could always try and reword the above in the style of Foggy or Compo as that is much nearer to Halifax or any of the characters from Happy Valley? Or probably best we put this thread to bed now!dickdarlington wrote:Well, there you have it. You learn something knew every day.
