It's been a hell of a long time since we had something like that where I am in Darlo, several nearby streets didn't have power but luckily ours did!
Going off topic I've always wondered how people would react to a mass black out!

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.
Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

I'm in the DL1 bracket there was no problems here.DIRTYDAVE wrote:quaker4life they said that it was the DL1 part of the town yeah it was only that part of town it was HELL no tv no laptop no internet and all me food was getting warm but its all cold now and nice n safe in me belly
And that what's made me wonder how people would cope with a mass black we depend on power for just about everything!
I don't think I'd miss t'internet too much myself....

Dave, it was fine at home and work yesterday more is the pity! Both are DL1 and the power was on all day.

We had one at work this morning at about 11:30 (or 10:30 in GMT). Doubt it's got anything to do with yours though.

Count yourself lucky. We had no power or water for 5 days a few winters back. We usually have at least one a week, sometimes ten. Usually when they're working on the mains the workers just turn it off to suit themselves - no warning cards through the doors here. It's a real bugger sometimes.
