Re: Chester Away All ticket
That seems to be very stingy given the capacity of the Chester ground? I can see more than 500 will want to travel and see the game?
Re: Chester Away All ticket
Blocks L and M are also for away fans
Re: Chester Away All ticket
Looks like the first two blocks have sold out already.
Do they usually charge £19 entry? Or are we being milked for cash again?

Re: Chester Away All ticket
Same as always https://chesterfc.com/ticket-prices/
If I've got my geography of Chesters ground right the two tarrifs are standing v seating.
Re: Chester Away All ticket
Fair enough, they're just expensive then

Re: Chester Away All ticket
I did think they couldn't offer us £19 seating whilst home fans have the option of £16 standing. However I must be wrong because this seems what Chester do every game.
Always assumed the had to offer something at the same lower price home fans were being offered. Even if only small numbers.

No. You have to price home and away fans the same for the accomodation that they get.super_les_mcjannet wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 11:31 amI did think they couldn't offer us £19 seating whilst home fans have the option of £16 standing. Re: Chester Away All ticket
That was probably what I was thinking of and changed it in my head to think lower price. Anyhow £19 for a seat is £2 more than ours for an adult, not the worst thing but defo on the expensive side.lo36789 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 11:39 amNo. You have to price home and away fans the same for the accomodation that they get.super_les_mcjannet wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 11:31 amI did think they couldn't offer us £19 seating whilst home fans have the option of £16 standing. Re: Chester Away All ticket
Looking at the Chester booking site then we have probably sold approx. 300 tickets and have about 200 tickets left.
If you want to go then I don't think you can wait until after the game on Saturday, looks like tickets will be gone by then, unless Chester open some more which is possible as often they don't use the South Stand I believe and it certainly was not open for recent game v Alfreton.
This could also depend on if they win at Brackley on Saturday and have a chance of the play offs.

Re: Chester Away All ticket
I thought away teams at this level were entitled to 20% of the capacity?

Re: Chester Away All ticket
It's only 20% in the FA Cup. Minimum is 10% in the EFL, don't know about the NLN. I guess as most ground aren't segregated its not usually an issue.CrazyDarlo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 3:24 pmI thought away teams at this level were entitled to 20% of the capacity?

Re: Chester Away All ticket
This could potentially be a dead rubber, we could be safe and Chester might be mathematically no chance of the playoffs Chester are away at Brackley at the weekend, if they don’t get anything there season could be over. Looking good for us as a backup result.

Spennymoor at present winning, meaning they’ve jumped over Chester in the league.

Re: Chester Away All ticket
Fair enough my memory must be failing me. 500 does seem a tad stingy for such a big ground but I suppose it depends on what’s riding on the game (for both sides).Yarblockos wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2024 3:42 pmIt's only 20% in the FA Cup. Re: Chester Away All ticket
Back in the day we had the stand behind the goal all standing but now we just have that end of the side stand. Best fun was when Wrexham came in with us!
Re: Chester Away All ticket
349 sold so far. Fantastic numbers for what will hopefully be a dead rubber for us

Officially a dead rubber after Boston win at Banbury this evening.
Re: Chester Away All ticket
Should be an interesting atmosphere at Chester, given they can't make the playoffs now.

Can’t imagine the Chester fans will be happy they were in the playoffs a few weeks ago.Mario wrote:Should be an interesting atmosphere at Chester, given they can't make the playoffs now.

Chester have no chance of the playoffs as Boston won tonight
Re: Chester Away All ticket
Bit non plussed about the clubs message about the game. Just reminds fans about our behaviour and the ticket sales close at 5 PM tomorrow. I would have thought some sort of postive message "support the Lads in numbers at our last game" may have pursuaded more to come down ans support but maybe i'm wrong as nothing riding on it.

Re: Chester Away All ticket
I can imagine that the Chester fans will be a bit miffed on missing out on the playoffs. It could lead to a bit of a hostile atmosphere.
Re: Chester Away All ticket
I could understand it if they lost it on the day due to a bad performance but those turning up on Saturday know the situation.Darlo_Pete wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 5:33 pmI can imagine that the Chester fans will be a bit miffed on missing out on the playoffs. More like it will be a dead rubber game with fans just waiting for the end to be able to show some appreciation for their players and sign the season off.
