Club hopes to come out of administration this coming Friday

Post by Darlo_Pete » Wed Jul 29, 2009 10:40 am

Just been up to the club this morning to pick up my tickets for Monday's fans forum and I was told that the clun hopes to come out of administration by this coming Friday. The club are hoping that there will be a surge in season tickets sales, once we come out of administration. The club will then be able to take payment for peoples season tickets and then there will be a mad rush to get them out before the first valid home game a week on Monday. Its a good job that we're away from home on the opening day of the season.

The fist game that you can use your season ticket is indeed the Bury home game, which is two weeks on Saturday.

Friday as in day after tomorrow? Or Friday as in eve of season?

Please clarify.

"This coming Friday" seems pretty clear to me Q.

I bloody hope so!

It'd be a huge boost to get it all signed and sealed before the start of the season and especially before the Leeds game.

Is this a positive hope or a guaranteed hope. good to see season tickets going well and it bodes well for the new season. Stay positive-we have ateam to support this season no matter what they do-as long as they play for the jersey [new one looks neat]

This is great news if it happens. I suppose a lot of fans will be a little sceptical after so many false dawns, but that's just being a Darlo fan.

How? That could be on any Friday. Pete has told you it is on this coming Friday.

It won't be though, will it.

We'll see, it was just what I was told at the club by someone who works there & knows me.

I'm told they're aiming for Friday but it could be Monday, so, if it doesn't happen tomorrow, don't be thinking the worst.

Got the champagne cork at the ready. I had a reliable source that it would have been Tuesday gone - so it should be today.
Then next week we can sort the squad out and get a few players on loan.

I would bloody love an announcement today.

Nice clear stress-free week ahead of the new season - get the players signed up on their contracts, get the season ticket sales done, bring in a striker and right-midfielder to settle in. It would be a huge help to get us ready for Aldershot.
