Which grounds have you seen Darlo playing at?

Been talking to a few Newcastle fans in the office, and they've worked out that they've seen their team play at 60 different grounds between them. It got me thinking, can we get every ground closed off in the Football League?

Only competitive games count, so no friendlies. I can cover a few:

Middlesbrough
Hull
Leeds
Reading
Villa
Barnsley
Wolves
Forest
Rotherham
Bradford
Rochdale
Peterborough
Northampton
Shrewsbury
Bury
Doncaster
Accrington
Carlisle
Mansfield
Grimsby
Newport
Hartlepool

For me it's 156 grounds (criteria - pay to enter).
88 of those were league grounds at the time of visit, of which 52 are still current league grounds.

Unusual ones:
Ramsey (Isle of Man)
Cobh Ramblers
Gretna

My wife says I keep too many records.

Add Torquay and Exeter,(lived down there for a while).
Sinclair got the second and Steve Holbrook the first.I dont have a great memory,Ray Simpson sent me a newspaper cutting! Darlo played in White shirts and Red shorts that night.

From Wiki.....Speaking 25 years later, he described the goal as "An absolute pearler. I wouldn't care, I was whinging to the referee because someone was pulling me back and he just said 'There's the ball' and I hit it. Afterwards we were running back and the ref asked me if I was satisfied. After winning at Hillsborough, I think I probably was."

Gillingham not been mentioned yet. Battered all the game in 1973, and came away with a 1-0 victory.

The Plymouth game in 84 - away end was open and it rained all afternoon. Looked like we were going to get a replay until a very late winner.

in the 70s/80s there were a couple of games where there was no away enclosure- Portsmouth in 1979 and Newport County (Somerton Park) a few years later - think it was the last game of the season.

We've played a couple of teams at three away grounds, Bristol Rovers, (Eastville, Twerton and the Memorial stadium), Brighton (Goldstone, Gillingham and Withdean)
