Top 10 teams after today’s games, Fri Apr 14th 2017

Thoughts (first for a change, get it off my chest)

After the news about the club being excluded from the play offs.

1) Appeal, as Poole are, let’s see what might happen.
2) To the club, please fully apologise for missing the seating requirement, explain why there was no follow up checking with the F.A., possibly too late now anyway.
3) Everyone from Martin Gray, the coaching staff, the players, the fans, give 100% still, all may not be lost, hold out for that last 1% chance.
4) Beat the carp (SP) out of everyone, footballing wise. Keep it tight at the back, get 2-0 / 3-0 wins.
5) Make Salford scramble on the last day, come back with point(s)
6) Let the F.A. know, we finished higher than Salford, they could not beat us, we should be in, not them in 6th place.
7) If it has to be, win the National League North next season, with the ground fully up to code, and double check the regulations with the F.A.
8) We don’t quit on the pitch, or off it!!!
9) There were some less than desirable results by Top 7 teams today, lets win tomorrow and go to 4th place, play every game like a play off game and win them.

Today’s results.

CHORLEY........... 1-0 Worcester
HALIFAX............ 0-1 Fylde
Gainsborough..... 1-0 SALFORD
KIDDERMINSTER 1-0 Boston

Forgetting on us missing out on the play-offs, I could see us coming 3rd or 4th. I'm sure Gray will use our off field problems to motivate the players to get us as far up the league table as possible.

I hope the players give it their all - they must be due bonus payments to finish top 5, and will entitled to them if they do.
