That is from the Poole Town statement. The club expect a decision to be made on the day, meaning there should be no delay to the current Playoff schedule.

The fact that this is taking so long is giving me a bit of hope (no doubt falsely)

Re: Appeal
They've still got to go through the motions and listen to what's said on behalf of all the clubs and then deliberate for they deem to be a reasonable time before giving the inevitable verdict.
Re: Appeal
The FA should be looking at tax avoidance by Newcastle and West Ham instead of pondering over some poorly constructed and unique rules in Vanarama. Mind, supposing they did and kicked NUFC & WHFC out of the league like we were, then perhaps we could pick up a cheap stadium or 500 seats.

Re: Appeal
Poole Town just confirmed it ... sorry lads not this year!
Re: Appeal
Poole have lost - but the recommendation is the rule be reconsidered going forwards.

Re: Appeal
This proves what a stupid rule it is in the southern league the 8th placed team could get in playoffs nearly 30 points lower than 2nd place

Re: Appeal
By all accounts 8th place can not enter the playoffs in this situation it only goes as far as 7th, luckily for Hampton & Richmond Borough they managed to achieve 7th place and will play in the playoffs this year.darlo reborn wrote:This proves what a stupid rule it is in the southern league the 8th placed team could get in playoffs nearly 30 points lower than 2nd place
