This forum was a much nicer read when I replaced all the instances of "they" with "we" and "them" with "us" just now.

I like this ,very astute, if that's the right word.

Together we stand,devided we fall,
We are one ,we have come along way in a very short time long may we as one continue.our club is forever onward and upward with Darlington f.c

But in fairness it surely was a point of the board telling him. Because it certainly shouldn't have been "MG would you mind reducing the budget by 85k?"

The next thing that worries me is how big is our budget at this level if we are taking a 85k cut.?

The point of the thread was more some of our fans attitudes towards their fellow fans, really. MG has a different relationship with the club, that of employee/employer.

"MG has a different relationship with the club, that of employee/employer."

It would be a curious relationship whereby (within a major meeting) an employee stood up and described a completely different vision for the company than the one held by the employers. Also, not sharing any of those 'thoughts' with the employer beforehand and in private, is a strange example of the employee / employer relationship.
