Weird atmosphere today not like the end of season home game! Oh yea I wonder why.
Anyway good luck to the lads at Salford.

Clean sheet and some decent football with penalty resulting from some clever play by Cartman. A respectable home sign-off with a couple of promising flashes by Saunders. Hard on the lads that they will not be allowed into the play-offs. All we can hope now is to show our pride and to stick it to Salford next week so they miss out on the play-offs. This set of players have the character to do just that

Bring on Blyth and one of Spennymoor or Workington, not forgetting Southport, North Ferriby and possibly York City. That will cut down on the travel costs and give us more local derbies which should boost the coffers with better attendances at Blackwell Meadows. Keep the faith and the squad (if possible) ;)

Poor game today against very mediocre opposition. Bartlett made a couple of great saves near the end to keep our noses in front. Hodgy was at the game today, don't know is anybody else noticed up on the gallery.

Let's hope you don't volunteer for any marketing roles at the club Pete :)

Total contrast to jjilkjiks (or whatever it is) post.

Flat game, but that's to be expected with the end of season looming and the uncertainty over the clubs future direction. One bit of quality won the penalty, and Bartlett made a few good saves.

I hope that's not the last time many of us will see some of those players (in Darlo shirts at least), but who knows?!
