Thought we were very poor today and the defending was woeful. Deflated feeling and so many police there even four on horseback (they were practising apparently). Stewards were not to be messed with and it was just boisterous. Well done all those who made the trip, see you in September! Keep the faith.

We have an option on Cartman. Whether we exercise that option is another thing though! With Spenny and York now in our division we will have to find money from somewhere to compete for what players are available.

It's not like the game matters, professional job or not, knowing that the result means nothing I wouldn't be surprised if some players have their minds elsewhere and who can really blame them. If things had been riding on this game, then maybe there may have been extra effort but who knows we might have been beaten anyway.
Well those of us who went made the "extra effort" so what couldn't the players? Worst performance I have seen in 5 years. Anyone see MG on the pitch at the end I couldn't but may have missed him?

Interesting re Salford's capacity for the playoffs. The Halifax fans have been given 600 tickets (same as us) and been told that the capacity for tonight's game at Moor Lane is around 2,100. I thought for the ground grading deadline a stadium had to have a capacity of 3,000? I realise it will eventually meet that requirement but difficult to see how it did on the deadline we all had to meet. Maybe strict rules aren't always strict rules for some.

Capacity can change with/without segregation in place. Dropping by 900 is insane but then our capacity drops by 300 with segregation in place.

That's very interesting indeed. Grade B is for minimum capacity of 3,000.

I'd assume the segregation will be exactly the same as it was for the Darlo game with a section of the terrace behind the goal cordoned off, losing maybe 300 or so from the capacity, there's no way that cordoned off space holds 900.

There was no flat standing at all when we were there on Saturday due to the other goal end being developed. The only thing I can think of is that they've been very cute as to when the development phases have started. I'd imagine the grading was done at a point before the work started on the other stand behind the goal was started and there was flat standing of 600+

I was there in last couple of weeks of March and that stand wasn't there.

I think they've been shown a degree of flexibility re the rules.

2,175 there tonight. Wonder if half the Salford fans had left before the equaliser went in because a fair number of them did against us despite leading 5-1 and having qualified for the play-offs.

Confirmed. Loads left before the end and missed the equaliser. You almost think they'd do the same before a penalty shoot-out as well.
