Why?

That's all.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Richards, Wheatley, Burgess and Portas all played for the reserves tonight. Obviously getting match fitness which is what the reserves are there for.

Seems strange to sign players who aren't even fit. But ok.

Marrs absent tonight too, saw him at the ground but don't believe he was on the bench again...

Richards scored for the reserves tonight, wouldn't surprise me if Marrs is the next player that is shown the door.

I suspect he needs a bit more match fitness. I think Marrs days are numbered though so it would be 1 in 1 out to balance the books. I liked what I saw of Richards in pre season, but that was only against Northern League teams. If It is Marrs that ends up going, it will be a shame because I think he's actually our best defensive player.

Richards must be an absolutely terrific player then, if we are getting rid of Marrs to accomodate.

Only time will tell I suppose. You never know he might be a cheaper option haha.

I don't like the term cheaper.

Better value is more preferable.

I'm a big big fan of Marrs. Him and Hunter both have big assets and weaknesses. Marrs is the better defender, but Hunter's pace gets him out of trouble. If you could add their best qualities then it would make a fantastic player.

Even though I'm a fan of Marrs, he looked really poor in pre-season IMO. Looked a bit negative when going forward at times. Hard decisions for Gray to make
