Fixtures

Post by footifan » Sat Jul 08, 2017 3:42 pm

The fixtures have not been kind for my visit in Sept / Oct... I have out of town commitments 9th / 16th Sept home games.

So as it stands the only home game I am certain to see will be Stockport...Oct 7th
Hopefully home draws in the FA Cup on the 16th Sept, if we win, again on the 30th Sept.

*Coddy & Simon
Lets plan on a reunion the Stockport game if that suits you ?

*Of course that applies to any one that would like to meet up for a beer or 10 ;) ... mines a pint ;)

Train up is booked for the Friday night using my 25% DFCSG discount. £18.60!

Trains back not yet available for the Sunday so maybe I'll be stuck up there.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Virgin East Coast. 25% off for DFCSG members!

Free WiFi if you book through their website too. *

*WiFi is another word for internet, for the aged and technophobic out there, Chris.

There's no probably about it! One of our major comps of the year is on the following day and as you have to qualify to play in it (which I have) I don't want to pass up on it.

I have had a look at coming up Friday afternoon and returning Saturday evening though . . .

Been looking at this again and a potential plan is to get a train up late Thursday evening and return south on the Saturday evening.

Are there any plans/suggestions for Friday that would make this worthwhile?

Re: 7th October

For those who care (and Harry Charlton's Pussy), I'll be coming up, with the mail, on the Friday night returning after the match on the 1828.

I hear there's hospitality being organised - add me in and let me know who I need to pay.

Finally, please look after me and ensure I don't get too pissed.
