Cartman played for Farsley today in the FA cup so obviously doesn't fit in Gray,s plans as he is now cup tied.
Forgot we don't do cups.
Think we were hoping Farsley would come up with the 10k to get Fewster.
Also Johnson was hoping to bring some big sponsors to the club which hasn't happened.

Don't know how much of that is true, but it is a bit concerning that Johsnon seems to have gone a bit quiet recently (has he?). New sponsors and investors don't seem to have appeared, although that doesn't mean no news is bad news of course.

Roadrunner rumours from past two weeks;
- Spennymoor at home was Adam Bartlett's last game for us (he started yesterday at Southport)
- Steve McClaren is preparing a takeover bin (he has recently taken a role in Saudi Arabia)
- Bradley Fewster is going to Bristol Rovers (whilst he was finalising a deal with Spennymoor)

Credibility is nil.

Bartlett situation was real, however sorted.
McClaren has been lurking, I would be confident he has some involvement with things in the back ground but how far no idea.
No idea on Fewster.

Whilst roadrunner does seem to spout new stories more often than anyone else, I wouldn't dismiss what he says totally. Some of his info has been spot on.

I think carts should be back in our squad ,gives us another dimension ,his loan period is about up so we should see soon if he's to come into the 'reckoning.

Will be glad to have him back in the squad! Carts gives us more options than the long lump to Beck. He keeps possession better than most & much higher work rate than others. Might not be in the starting XI but Carts can be a game changer coming off the bench. Just hope we can keep a clean sheet and stop all these silly lapses of concentration in the first 5 minutes after KO. Cmon Darlo, we need a win & return to the form we showed in the first 4 games of the season!! :thumbup:

He was certainly more involved tonight and scored the vital first goal. He was awarded the MOTM by the match sponsors, but Wheatley should have got it.

There were times tonight where he should have had a shot but squared the ball. Shows how much of a team player he is. So glad he's back.

Cartman put in a great shift v FCUM, making space & telling passes. Worked well with Wheatley & Beck so will be a big miss v Shields, being cup-tied. At least he got the goal machine rolling but i don't think he deserved MotM. 2nd half was great improvement & should boost confidence.

State of pitch was a concern, so perhaps we are planning to add more top dressing to welcome the Sand-dancers? ;)
