Darlington FC V South Shields Match Thread
Up date here please.
An FA Cup game at home in Darlington, not had one of these for a while. I hope we get a decent home crowd today, if we do it should be a terrific atmosphere.
I would like to see the same team that played so well on Wednesday night, with exception of Cartman who is cup tied (why on earth he was allowed to play in the cup at Farsley is beyond me) I would like to see Saunders take his place in the starting 11. Think MG will stick with Burgess before he starts his 3 match ban for that crazy tackle on Wednesday night, for me he is not fully fit and still off the pace, or does he play Vaulks? looks a good player, might be a bit soon for him to start such a big game, and if he got injured we would be well and truly up the creak next week.
So a team of,
Bartlett,
Marrs Collins Burgess Galbraith,
Gillies Wheatley Turnbull Ferguson,
Beck Saunders.
Subs, Ed W i l c z y n s k i Vaulks Syers Caton Tompson.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Shields are a good side, but apart from Turnbull we don't look interested

Re: Darlington FC V South Shields Match Thread
Pretty poor display so far, team set up changed from Wednesday night, should of played Vaulks at CB Galbraith at LB Ferguson could of stayed on the left Caton is a anonymous at the moment got to get this sorted second half.
Got to say it South Shields look the better side.

Caton has done more than Gillies. 3 CMs but we're outnumbered in midfield. Beck completely isolated.
Re: Darlington FC V South Shields Match Thread
Every time we've moved Ferguson to left back we've seemed weaker.
Why doesn't Gray see this?

Short of players I guess. Ferguson is a great footballer and great at going forward but actually a poor defender.Spyman wrote:Every time we've moved Ferguson to left back we've seemed weaker.

This money you get from a good FA Cup run. It's not important, right?
