Appointing Alan White with no managerial experience would be pretty risky.

Not trying to be a pedant but Gray had three separate spells as a caretaker manager, two full time roles as an assistant manager in the football league, and several years coaching full time in his academy before we hired him.

White would be far riskier than when we appointed Gray.

Gray had enough trouble keeping his opinions of the ref to himself, can't see White being so reserved - would have spent a lot of time watching from the stands
