£2m - sounds a lot doesn't it but in reality its 4 seasons of subsidising a full time playing budget. Then what?

On the flip side, £2m invested into infrastructure would be rather handy

Is that a hypothetical 2million road runner or is there something in the offing?

My opinion

Our very own ground where all profits from the bar and hospitality would 100% go back into the club.. Even buy the ground from DRFC.
Just thinking out loud.

Obviously would have to be voted on but people seem to want the power of owning a football club so it will get chucked out .

And rightly so if the motives are not pure. If somebody came in and presented to the fans a clear structure etc. Then they may be listened to. Don't tell me roadrunner:You heard something on the balcony on Saturday.

£2m wouldn't buy us our own ground - might get 40% of one.

DRFC have shown no willingness, as far as I'm aware, of anything other than a landlord/tenant relationship.

£2m is tranmere's staff budget and it would still only place you in the top third in that division.

Talking of DRFC I see there joint second bottom of Durham Division 2, so they are likely to need the football club more than ever, to help keep them going.

Well, I suppose that you put a 4 year plan in place. Get into the league within 4 years and if not, revert back to part time.
