I would like a copy of the 2-1 win vs Bradford City, also on Sky from 08/09 season. Contacted Sky to see if I could purchase a copy but due to legal and contractual rights, they are unable to do this. :-(

Would love to see this game again... Canny night that!

What was it... 3 goals in the last 6 minutes? Class

Was at that game, Forest had Beasant in goal and Robbie Blake played for them, Beasant made a hash of a clearance straight to Stuart Elliott who hit it first time, we were right behind the goal and could see it perfectly on its way into the net.

Brilliant atmosphere when it went in, then off to Wakefield for a few pints afterwards, great nights.

I remember that Bradford game well!

It was the night "The Glory Hunter" first arrived at Darlo and was even welcomed by George Houghton in his programme notes that night only to be removed from the ground as he was not allowed to record as Sky had broadcasting rights for the game!

It was also the night Omar Daley who Neil Austin had crocked at Valley Parade a year earlier came on as a sub and scored against us, bloody knew he would!

I don't think I have ever celebrated a goal more wildly than Elliott's winner at Forest. To coin a phrase I am infinitely too old to use: "limbs".

Oh for an alternate universe where we still play at Feethams. We had the perfect ground, the perfect size, in the perfect place, and a lunatic took it from us with his ridiculous plan.

YES we would still been a league club if we stayed at Feethams.

I still have the whole Darlo v Bradford game on my sky box. I keep watching Burgmeier's goal in wonderment, great game.

That was great at Forest, all the kids in for a quid each, brilliant goal, keeping a low profile on the way back to the car, buzzing inside then all the kids shouting Darlington at the forest fans just as the lights changed to red.....oh how we loved the league cup nights.

No. We were on the bones of our arse for years leading up to Reynolds arriving. He and others just gave us a stay of execution
