Temporary management

I think it's just a step to far for these two lads at the moment, well done both of you, the new management will need your help to start with ,then you can get back to what you do best, to strengthen Darlington,s defence.
And help get us playing something like we know the team can. Onward and upward with Darlington f.c.

If we had a couple of forwards, I believe Turnbull would turn it around.

Should have started Syers today. It's okay passing it around but when you're closed down you need an out ball. Sounded like we didn't have that first half and got penned in as a result.

Saunders is ok as an impact sub at this stage of his career but carries little goal threat for 90 mins

Thanks lads, you have done your best with what was left after the departure of MG and the majority of the backroom staff. Hope you can continue to support the club once the new guy is installed - whoever it is, as they will need it.

Phil Turnbull's post-match comments are interesting in that he has been trying to get the players to play proper football and will stick with it because he says he doesn't want to revert back to how it was before. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of our previous manager's tactics.

Yesterday was hardly an endorsement of his either.

Need new management in ASAP.
