Blyth Town joint managers Andy Bowman and Michael Conner resign, wonder if they are heading south.

Although Blyth Town have done alright the last couple of years. They won the Northern Alliance in 2015-16, then finished 8th in NL2 last season amd currently sit 6th in NL2 this year

Andy Bowman was part of North Shields Vase winning team a few years back and I dont know anything about Michael Connor apart from he has a UEFA B Coaching Badge.
For me, we would be taking some gamble taking them on. Maybe that is something we need, an appointment nobody is expecting, someone although not proven at this level, has the ambition and drive to take us forward.

Re: Blyth Town
Not sure I understand. As far as I can tell, these guys haven't even played for Darlo, let alone are Darlo through and through.
"At a meeting held at the Grammar School on Friday last - Mr Phillip Wood M.A., in the chair - it was resolved to form an Association Football Club for Darlington and neighbourhood. The opinions of those present were so unanimous as to the desirability of this step, that a committee was formed to complete the organisation of the club, and Mr Craven, 17, Garden Street, was appointed secretary pro tem." - The Northern Echo, Monday 23rd July 1883

interesting comment that. There are several good managers who have come from nowhere.murtonquaker wrote: For me, we would be taking some gamble taking them on. I ain't saying rule them out, I would like someone young, ambitious, someone like Alan White or these guys, just saying in making an appointment, there is an element of risk attached to itprinces town wrote:interesting comment that. But I will support whoever gets the job, whether they are a known name or not.

Be off to Ashington if anyone.
For you to insult me, I must first value your opinion.
