Sounds like we're creating plenty, just not testing Jameson.

If the centre back situation is going to continue with Galbraith required in there then we need a specialist left back pronto. And we are desperate for someone to make things happen in and around the penalty box because we didn't really look like scoring during the second 45 minutes. It's all right holding the ball up well and laying it off but we need someone with aggression and an eye for goal to give us more of a direct threat. They had that in players like Dale and Hopson. Not easy at this stage I agree but over to the two Ws to identify some of the clear weak points and find a solution. We weren't a million miles away today but there are some obvious weak points that are proving costly.

Pretty much agree Lucan, we cannot wait much longer for Browny to be available otherwise another CB is a priority with Galbraith reverting back to his recognised position.Again with Beck still injured, time is against us and a new CF is a no brainer.Looks like Hopson had a good game for them, always rated this lad so well done Gray for letting him go.We still have plenty of the season to go so hopefully Tommy will recognise what is needed.

It's less about identifying and more about finding clubs to take our cast offs which needs to happen first. Burgess signing a new 2 year deal in the summer when he was injured was ludicrous.

I'd say we need a centre back and a strong centre forward as a matter of urgency, and have for some time. I'm very uncertain about Burgess, and what the crack is with Mendes I have no idea. He's clearly at the club, he was on one of the videos this week, so why isn't he close to the first team?

You'd almost think Gray didn't give a monkeys because his head was somewhere else.... but I couldn't possibly comment. As regards Mendes, he was on the pitch warming up against Nuneaton but wasn't in the squad. I think he must be our "warming up" signing because that's all he has done ever since the signing was announced. Would be good to know if he has a contract.

I'd imagine the obvious answer is because he's nowhere near good/fit enough

We Have Vaulks it’s about time he was given his chance, and Mendes why isn’t he even given a go?

I'm beginning to think Mendes is just a figment of all our imaginations. Or MG's parting gift to the fans.

I firmly believe that Leon is still an asset as a squad player and can do a job, obviously not 90 minutes at left back but as part of an 18 man squad I still think he offers us something. squads are all about balance both from a playing and budget point of view

I'd be more concerned about moving the likes of Caton out

He's OK at breaking up play in the middle but he should not be starting at left back, I think even he would admit that. As far as Caton, can anyone tell me what Gray saw. He looks a world away from what you would describe as a Gray type of player.
