Darlington v Kidderminster

Well its getting fairly late in the day so it looks like Heaton will be our only new signing available to go into the squad for tomorrow. We also have the plus of Brown being passed fit to play. With that in mind, what are people's thoughts on team for tomorrow. I'd go for:

Wilczynski

Marrs, Brown, Collins/Heaton, Galbraith

Turnbull, Wheatley

Thompson, Syers, Gillies

Cartman

Bench: Collins/Heaton, Scott, Portas, Caton, Saunders.

Depending on how Collins has recovered from the know he took on his foot will depend whether he starts for me. Looking forward to Ed getting his chance to Lay claim to the number 1 jersey. I think if we're going to get anything tomorrow we might be relying on a good game from him. Overall it's not a bad side. Just a bit short on where goals are coming from.

No way id leave Portas out. Turning in MOM performances so far.

Agree, Portas has to play.

Picking up anything at Kidderminster is a tough ask.

I'd say Heaton must start and he should play alongside either Collins or Brown whichever is fitter. Then get Galbraith over to left back.

As mentioned on 'Netcafe' TW prefers to play 352 or 433

He is struggling there then...... 3 at the back requires 3 mobile centre halfs, which we don't have. And for his other favoured formation, we have a total lack of strikers.

433 or 451 can be very similar - 433 when attacking moving to a 451 when we loose the ball

Ed

Marrs Brown Collins Galbraith

Turnbull Wheatley Portas

Syers Cartman Gillies

I reckon, if TW likes his 4-3-3. Slightly worried he might play Thompson and drop Syers. Other option is to play Thompson, drop Syers into the midfield 3, but I think Wheatley deserves a chance....

I’d be pleased with that.

More than likely get shot down for this but I'd have Leon and Turnbull in midfield especially away from home. Turnbull has been struggling with teams getting at him lately and I think some of his best performances for the club have come when he's had an enforcer beside him. For me it's Wheatley OR Portas, definitely not both together

I'd also have Syers as the focal point of the attack with Cartman in behind.

A good point regarding Turnbull, Divas.

It would benefit our defence no end to give less ball away in midfield and have more bite to protect them.

1-0 Kiddy.

We're playing 3-5-2. In the cursed maroon kit.

Hopefully Tommy can bring in 2 forwards before our next home game as we’re completely toothless at the moment.

I think the horror show defending is of equal concern. Needs to pick a system the players know and stick with it.

Would have been nice to sample some of that new manager bounce that people talk about but hey at least weve got some easy games coming up... gulp...

Until we bring in 2 decent forwards I’m struggling to see us winning another game. Pleasing that Tommy has brought in a decent centre half, but I’m hoping he’ll announce more signings before next weekend as at present we’re only 3 points off a relegation spot! Thankfully still a long way to go with time to put things right.
