Just to let you guys know, Dan Lowson has signed for you.Spennymoor had an overload of keepers having signed Shane Bland from Whitby. Lowson decent keeper but prone to mistakes.

Hang on a minute - you sign players from us, not the other way around!

Oh how the tables have turned.

Can we have Graeme Armstrong as well please?

If true, welcome to the club Dan.

Interesting. He was very highly rated when he came here first time round but never really got a look in. Seems to be prone to the odd calamity from what I recall. Not sure he'd be an upgrade on Ed tbh. Would rather have brought Bell back or a kid in and spent the money on the outfield

Was it Lowson in goal for them on Bank Holiday Monday? Cos if anyone recalls, their keeper came out and completely missed the ball, leaving Brown to head into an empty net.

Agree, although a bit of competition for the gloves is no bad thing.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Should be fine if we aren't playing Harrogate, York or Halifax

I think that a keeper who makes a mistake and let's in only one goal in a game would be very welcome at the moment.

All keepers make mistakes at this level but I have seen him have some cracking games for Spenny and I think he is a good solid signing for us and would not be worried in the least if he got the nod over Ed.Not the biggest but a great shot stopper.

Bell was a great benchwarmer, but never stepped up for us in recent months, Not really a miss to the playing squad although could have been a contribution to the coaching side.

The echo said Saturday that there were 2 potential signings from the same NNL club. If lowson is one who would be the other. The signings were delayed because the NNL club would need to find replacements. Hardly fits in with the overload theory but who knows

"He had hoped to bring in a further two players from a fellow National League North club in time for today’s fixture, but their employer delayed the moves as they want time to secure replacements"(Northern echo)

According to Stod last week of the 3/4 players TW wanted to bring in, one was with a club in the NE and the others weren't. I therefore presume Lowson is the NE based lad and the 2 from a NLN club are probably not NE based - maybe Midlands?!

Is this guy Paolo Mendes in disguise?.............................Or a wind up from a Spenny fan?

Perfectly happy for Ed to get his chance, but we've gotta back TW if he thinks it's the right call. For me personally, money would be better spent elsewhere. We desperately need a striker.
