Sounds interesting.

Looks like he wishes to continue his career with Tommy guiding him.

Let's hope he's given time to develop and we don't expect too much too soon. A good sign that Wright is looking at the bigger picture though.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Glover has already played in this league and if he was DFR's "young lad in the middle" he made a decent showing against Boro A.

He may get some bench and sub duty this campaign, as Styche needs close support from behind and Glover could possibly fit that bill.

I expect Syers, Wheatley, Saunders, Caton or even Gillies may be preferred on the day though.

He and other younger players could get into first team contention in the Wright-White era. (e.g. Hume, Milburn & Walters), but only if & when a mid-table mediocrity finish is confirmed.

Wonder what sort of contract he has been given? Hopefully a decent length if Premiership clubs have been sniffing around.

We've started to assemble a collection of promising younger players. Wheatley, Saunders, Vaulks, Trotman, Heaton and now Glover. With a couple more in the reserves highly rated too. Bodes well for the future, and hopefully some of them will progress onto bigger and better things than Conference North football, which would be good news for the players but also for our bank balance!

Vinnie Steels is very well thought of too. As the type of club we are it’s vital that we can develop our own talent and TW obviously buys into that

Agree with this as a means to give our club a future. We need to develop a reputation for enabling aspiring young talent to make the leap into a career as a professional player. Realistically, DFC can only be a stepping stone on their career path, so essential that there is a % of sell-on fees in all contracts.

He certainly looked a young lad, good to see him get some game time.
