Martin Gray. Once our troubles seemed so far away.
Now it looks as though they're here to stay.
Oh, I believed in Martin Gray.

Suddenly, he’s not half the man he used to be.
There's a shadow hanging over DFC.
Oh, Martin Gray left suddenly.

Why he had to go?
The fans forum was an awful day
He said something wrong.
Now no one longs for Martin Gray.

Martin Gray. It was such an easy game to play.
Now I need a place to hide away.

Now that the York game is over and done with we (i.e. This board) can forget about Gray - he really is a yesterday man as far as our club is concerned.

In fact the only thing that happens now to Gray/York that I'm interested in is their results against our relegation rivals - hopefully they will win them all, and if that means York getting into the play-offs and promotion then fair enough.

I hope York stay down and we can resume hostilities again next season.

This. I don't give a rats who goes up as long as they do Gainsborough, Nuneaton et al over in the process.
