Can't say I'm surprised. no idea how he managed to make a career out of football when he was utterly useless for us. I may be wrong didn't he set the record for the youngest ever player to play for us, at the game at Peterborough? What a day that was.

Pete, why do you seem so angry with our youth system?

I'm not. Mains was useless for us, he makes Saunders look a decent player.

Curtis hasn't been useless elsewhere though. He's carved out a good career for himself which is more than most of our other young starlets have ever done.

Main was good. He was also our record youngest goalscorer, against grimsby I think. Why hold anything against him? He only ended up leaving because the manager didn't fancy him. He still got a move to Middlesbrough and league starts for them despite being with us in the mega toxic administration and staunton periods.

For all the stick they got here, Main and Smith have both had ok careers.
