My picks to go down, as of today, Telford, Gainsborough and North Ferriby.
I’ve changed after Leamington's wintoday to Telford going down who are using up bottom 11 matches but luck may not be with them after Tamworth equalised in injury time today.

Bottom 11 teams this week

Southport; 6 games against common bottom 10 opponents; 24/02 Curzon (H), 10/03 Tamworth (H), 13/03 Telford (H), 24/03 Alfreton (H), 31/03 Darlington (A), 07/04 Nuneaton (H)
North Ferriby 0-3 Southport; Leading 2-0 at half time, Southport’s 3-0 win lifts them from 16th place to 12th. The league position has dramatically improved as they have beaten Gainsborough and North Ferriby away in the last seven days, winning both games 0-3.

Curzon Ashton; (7 games); 24/02 Southport (H), 03/03 Nuneaton (H), 05/03 Gainsborough (H), 10/03 Darlington (A), 24/03 Tamworth (H), 02/04 Alfreton (H), 14/04 Leamington (A)
Curzon Ashton 4-1 York; After Curzon Ashton had beaten Telford away 3-0 on Tuesday, they follow up today thrashing playoff chasing York 4-1, being 3-0 ahead at half time for a comfortable win. The win lifts them up to 13th place from 17th place. A week ago they were tied on points with Gainsborough who are now 2nd bottom.

FC Utd of Man; (7 games); 24/02 Telford (A), 03/03 Gainsborough (H), 31/03 Leamington (A), 07/04 Tamworth (A), 14/04 Darlington (H), 21/04 Alfreton (A), 28/04 North Ferriby
FCUM 0-1 Stockport; Stockport’s 18th min winner was enough for three points, this result has FCUM slip two places to 14th.

Tamworth; (5 games); 03/03 Darlington (H), 10/03 Southport (A), 24/03 Curzon (A), 30/03 North Ferriby (H) (Fri), 07/04 FCUM (H)
Tamworth 2-2 Telford; Tamworth came from behind twice today, the equaliser was in injury time to grab a point against bottom three Telford, maintaining a six point gap between the two clubs.

Alfreton; (5 games); 03/03 Telford (H), 24/03 Southport (A), 30/03 Nuneaton (H) Fri, 02/04 Curzon (A), 21/04 FCUM (H)
Alfreton 2-3 Salford; Salford were too good for Alfreton today who made it look closer with a 90th min goal, they fall from 13th place to 16th place.

Darlington; (7 games); 03/03 Tamworth (A), 10/03 Curzon (H), 17/03 North Ferriby (H), 24/03 Telford (A), 31/03 Southport (H), 14/04 FCUM (A), 21/04 Nuneaton (H)
Brackley 3-0 Darlington; With injuries and suspension Darlington could not match playoff contenders Brackley, the loss pushes Darlington from 14th place to 17th place.

Nuneaton; (7 games); 27/02 Telford (A), 03/03 Curzon (A), 10/03 North Ferriby, (H)
17/03 Leamington (A), 30/03 Alfreton (A) Fri, 07/04 Southport (A), 21/04 Darlington (A)
Spennymoor 0-1 Nuneaton; One goal in the 24th min gives Nuneaton a massive win, they remain in 18th place and catch the next group of teams above them as well as move 5 points clear of 20th place Telford.

Leamington; (4 games); 17/03 Nuneaton (H), 31/03 FCUM (H), 02/04 Telford (A), 14/04 Curzon (H)
Boston 0-1 Leamington Another huge win for a bottom 5 team, a 53rd min goal secures the win, although Leamington remain in 19th place they are now 4 points clear of 20th place Telford.

Telford; (7 games); 24/02 FCUM (H), 27/02 Nuneaton (H), 03/03 Alfreton (A), 13/03 Southport (A), 24/03 Darlington (H), 02/04 Leamington (H), 21/04 Gainsborough (H)
Tamworth 2-2 Telford; Telford almost got three points today, denied by an injury time goal to get one valuable point and move up to 20th place. Unfortunately for Telford, Nuneaton and Leamington both won away games, Telford now trail Leamington by four points.

Gainsborough; (5 games); 03/03 FCUM (A), 05/03 Curzon (A), 02/04 North Ferriby (A), 21/04 Telford (A), 28/04 Tamworth (H)
Chorley 1-0 Gainsborough; Gainsborough lose by a single second half goal and slip to 21st place after Telford get a point at Tamworth.

North Ferriby; (5 games); 10/03 Nuneaton (A), 17/03 Darlington (A), 30/03 Tamworth (A) (Fri), 02/04 Gainsborough (H), 28/04 FCUM (A)
North Ferriby 0-3 Southport . Another loss for last place North Ferriby.

Comments
A bad day for Darlington, as Southport and Curzon Ashton win and jump over them in the table, Leamington and Nuneaton win beneath them, and Telford gain a point. A game away to a third place opponent was going to be tough before illness was added to suspension affecting the starting line up.

Winners today
Leamington, winning at Boston
Nuneaton , winning at Spennymoor
Southport, winning at North Ferriby
Curzon Ashton hammering York

Losers today
Telford, conceding a 90th+ min equaliser at Tamworth
Gainsborough, now second bottom, no goals in their last three games.

Blimey the Gainsborough pitch must be in a bad state, if they've already cancelled next weeks game? I presume someone is involved in an FA Trophy game?

Just been flicking through previous seasons final tables. 48 points seems to be the guaranteed safety mark (last season was freakishly low). Although 43 is usually enough. Looking at how this season is shaping up, I think we’ll need to get those additional four wins to hit the target. And possible one more to be certain. The lads are definitely capable to get to 50.

Scary how one defeat can refocus the attention.

It really does hinge on Telford’s games in hand. If they can narrow the gap, then it’s one team from a handful.

The way I looked at it from before the Brackley game was that we had 12 games left with 36 points gained. If we could draw each of those 12 games we would make the guaranteed mark you mention - 48 points. So every game we get a point we remain on track, a win is a bonus giving us a two point boost ahead of target, a loss is just a single point gone.

So after Brackley we are one down on where we want to be, a loss against Kiddie would have us two down. But if we win the next game we are immediately back on track. Of course a win against Kiddie would immediately put us ahead of the target.

Surprised by how many bottom teams turned over promotion 'contenders' last Saturday. It just goes to show we can't rely on other teams to drop points, hence nice to think our fate still lies within our own hands.
Having said that, Tuesday night games could see our immediate rivals drop points (fingers crossed!) :D
