Re: Tonights Games
I'd be delighted with 3 home wins and a surprise away win for Bradford PA.

Just looked at the odds of that and it is only 19:1, so not exactly unlikely! Would be nice thoughDarlo_Pete wrote:I'd be delighted with 3 home wins and a surprise away win for Bradford PA.
Also, I shall be looking out for the 6 pointer cheering on Halifax v Pools in the relegation dogfight in VNL

Re: Tonights Games
I see the Spennymoor v AFC Telford game is off.
Re: Tonights Games
Maybe Brad should be looking at chucking his money at the bog of a pitch that Ainsley says is "killing" his side. The giant slalom slope may need to be sorted anyway.

Said pitch helped us out big time a couple of years back - lest we forget.LoidLucan wrote:Maybe Brad should be looking at chucking his money at the bog of a pitch that Ainsley says is "killing" his side. The giant slalom slope may need to be sorted anyway.

the further Telford fall behind the better (even with games in hand). It might be a tall order for themCarl Airey wrote:I see the Spennymoor v AFC Telford game is off.

Getting done in the summer I believe.LoidLucan wrote:Maybe Brad should be looking at chucking his money at the bog of a pitch that Ainsley says is "killing" his side. The giant slalom slope may need to be sorted anyway.
To be fair to Brad he generally gets things done when he needs to and is more than happy to put his money where his mouth is.
If we had our own ground then I would have no issue with DFC repaying the favour to Spennymoor if they needed it but I guess we can't help.

4. 1 now
Re: Tonights Games
Aw, you got me there. Spenny fans have raised about 900 quid, to go with the 100+ grand from the ground improvement fairies.Mr_Pickle wrote:Corrected for you, sirQuakerz wrote:Yep, funded by the owner as well as generous supporters through bucket collections at home games, various functions and Go Fund Me pages
Now - seeing as though you're NOT a Spenny fan, then WHY are you on a Darlo forum "correcting" us over Spenny, when a) we don't give a fuck about them, and b) you don't give a fuck about them? Hmm? Hmm?
If you really want to talk about them, find a Spenny forum or find Spenny fans on Twitter/Facebook.
Re: Tonights Games
Only Harrogate doing us a favour so far tonight, but even they let Alfreton get one back
But Bradford just gone ahead at Salford!
Spenny postponement contributing to their own fixture congestion. Perhaps they will be knackered when they come in April? I do hope so.

Re: Tonights Games
Could do with Stockport getting a grip!
Re: Tonights Games
Indeed. If the scores stay the same Nuneaton will climb six places (knocking us down one place in the process). Just shows how tight it is down there.Darlopartisan wrote:Could do with Stockport getting a grip!
Re: Tonights Games
Salford 2 down now (Nowakowski). Been a good night for DFC old boys - Beck has two so far for Harrogate. Alfreton making a fight of it, mind, 4-3 (they just scored two in as many minutes).
Re: Tonights Games
Sounds like Beck needs to complete his hat-trick to secure the win. None of our old boys at Stockport?biccynana wrote:Salford 2 down now (Nowakowski). Been a good night for DFC old boys - Beck has two so far for HT.
Not quite what we needed, but at least Pools lost at Halifax & inched towards the drop zone.

Re: Tonights Games
Harrogate could well go top tonight, good on them, I'd prefer them to go up rather than Salford.

Re: Tonights Games
Prefer Salford to go up, longer trip and they will just get stronger each season. Rather we gave the whole circus thing when we play them a miss.Darlo_Pete wrote:Harrogate could well go top tonight, good on them, I'd prefer them to go up rather than Salford.

Re: Tonights Games
Nuneaton are in excellent form.
Whilst everybody is papping their pants about us dropping one place and them climbing 6 places - now would be a good time to suggest that we stop fretting about those below us and instead look at the 6/7 teams above us who we can claw in. They're all going to be looking over their shoulders with a couple of defeats, and are in the relegation fight as much as we are.

Be good to get rid of Brackley too, for distance reasons.super_les_mcjannet wrote:Prefer Salford to go up, longer trip and they will just get stronger each season. I'd prefer that they both go bankrupt. Tinpot, toy clubs.Darlo_Pete wrote:Harrogate could well go top tonight, good on them, I'd prefer them to go up rather than Salford.

It was only me, I think, Quakerz. But fear not, my pants are fine.Quakerz wrote:Whilst everybody is papping their pants about us dropping one place and them climbing 6 places
Who now include Nuneaton. Bit confused - you don’t think we should worry about Nuneaton climbing above us, but you still want us to think about teams that are above us.Quakerz wrote:now would be a good time to suggest that we stop fretting about those below us and instead look at the 6/7 teams above us

Re: Tonights Games
Exactly, we’re nearly on par with others on games played now and we’re 3 points away from mid table whilst playing most of them over the next month. A great opportunity to finish in a very respectable position. No doubt the last relegation place will go down to the wireQuakerz wrote:Nuneaton are in excellent form.
