Joe Wheatley
Re: Joe Wheatley
Wheatley must be just about the only player Gray didn't put on a two-year contract.

Re: Joe Wheatley
Hang on... is he under contract or not? And for that matter are the other two?? They either aren't or they are?al_quaker wrote:http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/ ... ref=twtrec
Off in the summer then I'd imagine
Disappointing he's now seemingly not contracted, which contradicts this http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/news/l ... _contract/
Shame, but at least we'll be entitled to some compensation
Re: Joe Wheatley
Well Heaton definitely is as he just signed a new contract

Re: Joe Wheatley
Article says he was ill at Brackley but looked jaded in the next game.....has he been acting like a normal 21 year old maybe and not given it his all in training?
Would be more bothered if Heaton wasnt on contract....or Vaulks, he was brilliant last night and along with Trotman,O Hanlon and Galbraith gives me lots of hope for next season.
Ps Forgot....Hunter on his way back too.

Re: Joe Wheatley
I'm sure that TW said all the players going to the V9 event in the summer, were under contract next season, so Wheatley would command a fee.

Re: Joe Wheatley
Just heard off an horses mouth that Wheatley has fell out with TW and Heaton is off to Fulham could be a 3 legged horse mind

The line the club/TW want to give to the wider footballing world isn't always the truth.Darlo_Pete wrote:I'm sure that TW said all the players going to the V9 event in the summer, were under contract next season, so Wheatley would command a fee.
If you are looking to sign Wheatley up to another contract the last thing you do is announce that his contract runs out at the end of the season, even if it means not telling the local press the truth.
Re: Joe Wheatley
Fulham have been scouting him for a while.darlo reborn wrote:Just heard off an horses mouth that Wheatley has fell out with TW and Heaton is off to Fulham could be a 3 legged horse mind
