Help Needed

Post by poppyfield » Sat Mar 17, 2018 8:02 am

The Club are looking for a few people to meet up, at Blackwell Meadows, at 8am tomorrow morning to help clear the pitch. Would any of you be able to help?

I have been told that waterproofs are essential!!
Help get the club back to Darlo by helping to spread the word about the "Back to Darlo!" fund. The image on the right will be constantly updated with the latest total so please feel free to use the image link below the thermometer on your own signatures, blogs, websites, etc.Image

Why are fans wanted to clear the pitch on a Sunday and what are we expected to clear, as I imagine the pitch hasn't much if any snow on it?

Are you a professional arsehole or do you just help them out when they’re busy?
You know very well what the message means.

Oy get off you're high horse, I was responding to the original post and how it read, read it again if you don't understand. It was a bit pointless posting the message after 8am this morning.

Having to revert to offensive language. The original poster didn't make it clear and I'd have expected him to have put this on earlier or not at all. it was a bit pointless after the time to go down to the club after the starting time had already gone by.

You don't get turned away for being late when we are trying to get a game on.

You knew it was meant for today

You were trying to score easy points, and it backfired.

No I didn't I read people's posts as how they posted him. If you had to start second guessing whether the original poster meant that or something else, you'd begin to question everything that was posted on here.

Stop digging. You were being a tool and now you've been called out on it.

You're the first to pile in on people but don't like being criticised yourself.

I can’t believe I’m the only one that finds threads like this so sad.
I can understand that, thankfully, people have different views on things. It is the way that people deal with them.
Perhaps people need to be willing to say, ‘Sorry’, even when they believe they are right? The world might then be a slightly better place; this Forum certainly would.
