Managed to get 15 people to vote, we all do our bit and get free money plus a fixture that benefits us monetarily and in terms of exposure!

Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Google chrome have an incognito option just select that and vote as many times as you like as long as you have e-mails to use.darlo reborn wrote:how can you vote more than once I had to give my email address.unless you have a few
PS. You need to select incognito then close it and open up a new one everytime.

Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Do we have any knowledge of numbers. I don't suppose they tell us how voting is going but perhaps someone knows what the winner got last year? I've voted and persuaded some others but I may have a plan B but would need some idea of what sort of numbers we are dealing with to work out how much effort to put in to it.

Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Just looked at the article about Corby winning last year, it said they won with a 28 percent majority of the public vote, not much help on the numbers side, so it looks like you’ll have to put the effort indfcdfcdfc wrote:Do we have any knowledge of numbers. Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Do you actually need to put a real email address in, only I've not and it hasn't rejected me. Also you can keep going into chrome incognito and revoting by doing that.

Re: £20,000 PRIZE
It's got clever and won't let me access the vote again so I've used laptop, phone and ipad so far with different addresses!
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Google chrome incognito function should let you vote repeatedly...
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Try clearing cookies and browsing history too. Might be able to vote repeatedly by doing that.don'tbuythesun wrote:It's got clever and won't let me access the vote again so I've used laptop, phone and ipad so far with different addresses!
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Microsoft Edge has New InPrivate Window that also allows you to do this.

Thanks!!
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
I would be very surprised if they don't run the voting e-mais through an email address verifyer such as e-mail Hippo (https://tools.verifyemailaddress.io/). However, I'm sure you have lots of valid e-mail addresses in your Inboxtdk1 wrote:Do you actually need to put a real email address in, only I've not and it hasn't rejected me. Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Just seen the official site on twitter asking for votes, can't we ask someone famous to retweet this to their x million followers, worth a shot

Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Nobody famous but I've just mailed everyone in my "contacts" list no matter how vaguely I know them or how long it has been since I contacted them, asking for support.
As long as it doesn't provoke any anti Darlo votes it seems to me it is worth a shot.
(though if you're doing this at work make sure that your employer is happy with the idea first).

No one famous, but will have a word with our twitter desk.
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
retweet by our sponsors.
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Bump - this is important!
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Currently seems to be accepting votes without the need for an e-mail address. Don't know if they count but vote anyway just in case!!!
