£20,000 PRIZE
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
You still have to use Private browsing window
Microsoft Edge = 3 dots in top right of screen. Choose New InPrivate Window and the enter the web address (https://www.nlc.marathonbet.co.uk/nlc-shorlist-vote) and vote.
Microsoft Internet Explorer = Click Tools (or Alt and X) - its the Cog in Top right hand corner of screen. Click Safety then Click InPrivate Browsing. Enter the address in the address bar (https://www.nlc.marathonbet.co.uk/nlc-shorlist-vote) and then Vote. No email address required at the moment.
Google Chrome has a similar Private Function butI don't know the mechanics of that.
Lets pile in - the club needs this money!!

Re: £20,000 PRIZE
PS - whichever Browser you use you must close the private one down before going through the whole process again or it will come up with a Red Stop sign as you try to vote.
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Just noticed that in Microsoft Internet Explorer there is keyboard shortcut. Hold down Ctrl Shift and P buttons together and automatically brings up the In Private Window. All you have to do then is go to Marathonbet's Site and then Vote and close the window down and repeat the whole process ad nauseum.
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Bump - get voting!
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
It's not asked me for an e-mail address. If you click on the link from the DFCSG e-mail you can just go out and back in and vote again.
Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Don't forget you can vote numerous times using In Private Window option -see my posts above if you don't know how. This is regardless of whether you have voted before or not.

I also own my own domain and can add up to 10,000 e-mail addresses, so I will be setting up quite a few more for the purpose of this, I have mentioned it on Twitter myself and still gonna target a few more people on Twitter over the next few days

Yea I've been doing this it says vote received so I assume it goes through, gets a bit boring after a while but you just have to keep goingVodka_Vic wrote:It's not asked me for an e-mail address. If you click on the link from the DFCSG e-mail you can just go out and back in and vote again.

That was one of my ploys but save yourself the effort. You can just vote - no e-mail address required now!!murtonquaker wrote:I also own my own domain and can add up to 10,000 e-mail addresses, so I will be setting up quite a few more for the purpose of this, I have mentioned it on Twitter myself and still gonna target a few more people on Twitter over the next few days

I am up to 80 votes in now, might have to sue for repetitive stress

Re: £20,000 PRIZE
As the Irish saying goes, "vote early, vote often"
I have asked Cambridge Analytics if they can do anything for us. Zuckerberg said he was a bit busy and is a Boston fan anyway. Not sure he understood my accent.

Just over 14 hours to go, so keep voting, don’t forget you can now vote as many times as you want as you don’t have to supply an email address.

Re: £20,000 PRIZE
I hope we are not breaching any rules of the comp, Marathon Bet say that they have the right to award prize as rule below
23. Prizes shall be awarded at the discretion of Marathonbet. If Marathonbet considers that any entrant has
acted inappropriately or dishonestly in entering the competition, Marathonbet reserve the right to refuse
to award any part or the entire prize

Re: £20,000 PRIZE
To be honest, these types of competition should be judged by a panel otherwise the biggest club will always win. I suspect that even if votes were restricted to one vote per person we’d still win.

Rob, if there's a glitch then all clubs will have found it.robsraiders wrote:I hope we are not breaching any rules of the comp, Marathon Bet say that they have the right to award prize as rule below

Re: £20,000 PRIZE
Well lets hope so, they dont have to reveal to us the number of votes, they could just decide it themselves, after all this is an advertising campaign designed to get multiple email addresses to entice people to bet with themVodka_Vic wrote:Rob, if there's a glitch then all clubs will have found it.robsraiders wrote:I hope we are not breaching any rules of the comp, Marathon Bet say that they have the right to award prize as rule below

Re: £20,000 PRIZE
To be fair, the club ("the entrant") hasn't done anything other than encourage people to vote as far as I can see.robsraiders wrote:I hope we are not breaching any rules of the comp, Marathon Bet say that they have the right to award prize as rule below

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd imagine they'd only count 1 vote per IP address anyway

Do you not think they might suspect a bit of dodgy voting, when we win by a million votes.

Also, it's a promotional competition for a gambling company. I don't think they're going to be on the phone to the gaming commission.Darlo_Pete wrote:Do you not think they might suspect a bit of dodgy voting, when we win by a million votes.
