Close links with the rugby club too. Can only be good news. A couple of points. Firstly, where are the nearby grass football pitches, and secondly, does this in any way mean we've heard anything about the sporting hub, as if we moved we'd have to relocate again?

Grass pitches are to the left before you go in the ground, you go through a gate and then follow the path and it heads all the way back to the A66 bypass, has a number of pitch sizes for all ages.
Darlington Young Bulls play and train on those pitches whom the Rugby Club charge I believe. One of my kids plays for them so I am over that way most weekends.

Surely this must be recognised as DFC's commitment to the proposed Sports Hub? Also goes a long way to securing the future of our club by providing a drip feed of young talent into the first team squad. Very welcome initiative by the Board.
