MATCH POSTPONED | Our National League North game against @Official_Darlo today has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

New date to be advised.

Not surprised one bit. Wonder when they'll try to re-arrange the game? Spennymoor have massive fixture problems.

They've got 2 Thursday's free, so 19th or 26th April I presume

They now have one free Thursday. If the weather doesn't relent they'll be playing Tues/Weds/Thurs one week.

From Facebook “it will be off there pitch is worse than ours”...no this isn’t a post about poor grammar - do our fans think our pitch is bad - how many postponements have we had this season?

Our pitch now holds up very well so don't know what he is talking about.

These postponements on Saturday & today aren't exactly the worst thing in the world. Gives us an opportunity to get Syers & Styche rested up and Collins & Portas back to full fitness for Saturday for the run in.

Would like to see Southport (H) re-arranged for the 17th and Spennymoor (A) for the 26th.

We play Wednesdays so would be 18th April for Southport.

Don't suppose the 11th is an option for Southport? It's the only Wednesday I can make

I doubt it as they're at Blyth on the tenth. Mind you it would reduce their travelling!

If you look at Telford's pitch now it's even touch and go for Spenny on Thursday.

Saturday postponement was not only good due to the players getting back to fitness, with the weather as wet as it was we would have been lucky to get around 1000 fans in, a big hit on finances. Even if a night game is only 1300 it would be approx extra £3k in the bank and every penny counts for us.

Plenty more rain in Telford today and tomorrow. It should be dry by Thursday, but I presume they'd have an early inspection to stop Spennymoor from travelling.

Spenny should just play us on Thursday and Telford in a couple of weeks. Job sorted.
