Am I going blind? Neither the post, or the poster reproduction, say where this wondrous event is taking place. Might be helpful if we knew where the tickets gained us admittance to.
Oops, just re-read it. Too early on a Saturday, sorry.

Well I couldn't go but you can have a fiver from me for the ticket I would have bought if I wasn't away buying £11 pints in Leeds (don't ask...).robsraiders wrote:Just an update on what was raised on the night some late sales have come in and we now stand at £940 wish I could find another £60 from somewhere !
£55 to go!
Alun's promise to the fans: “I’ll make sure I’ll bring players in that are value for money and I want players that want to play for Darlington Football Club, want to progress and move up the league and show the fans that passion.”

Sorry, Allan, but I'm afraid you will have to explain that. Makes that London look cheap.Allan Quatermain wrote:buying £11 pints in Leeds (don't ask...).

Paid £17 entry to a beer festival then bought 8 tokens for £20, each one of which was exchanged for one third of a pint.biccynana wrote:Sorry, Allan, but I'm afraid you will have to explain that. Makes that London look cheap.Allan Quatermain wrote:buying £11 pints in Leeds (don't ask...).
£37 for 2 and two thirds pints actually comes to £13.87 per pint, my mental arithmetic on the day clearly wasn't very good.
Jeez...

Ouch. There better have been some stupendously good ales to choose from.Allan Quatermain wrote:Paid £17 entry to a beer festival then bought 8 tokens for £20, each one of which was exchanged for one third of a pint.biccynana wrote:Sorry, Allan, but I'm afraid you will have to explain that.
