Great news IMO.

Portas and Hunter I think will be invited back to pre-season as both are out of contract I believe.

That would leave question marks on Marrs, Burgess and Caton.

Great news.

Giving Hunter and Portas pre-season to show their worth sounds a sensible decision too.

So if Brown, Mills and Scott are gone, hopefully we can move on Caton, Burgess and Marrs. That hopefully leaves some space to bring in a striker and keeper as priorities and then see what happens with Portas and Hunter.

Maybe an argument for keeping Caton as back up to Thompson and Gillies but you'd think we could get someone to fill the same role for less money.

We will be playing at the arena again next season - fact.

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Pleased with both these new deals. Galbraith has been excellent in the centre of defence and Gillies improved hugely with TW as his manager. Gillies also has a very good goals to games ratio for a winger.

We should have signed Gillies on an August-October & April contract.

It's an interesting one. I am reasonably happy Gillies is staying because his stats are decent, nearly double figures in goals and a number of assists, however his overall contribution especially when the pitches are heavy needs to improve.

At least Wright is steady with a 1 year deal and that seems a decent compromise.

Great news for the club in getting 2 of our best players onto new contracts. It also protects us if somebody comes in and tries to pinch them from us for nowt.
