Even more impressive that he was still playing at 40

Didn’t he have a ridiculously good penalty record as well?

Typical they just won't leave us alone. ;)

I would imagine they will do reasonably well, not sure if they will have the cash of recent times but no doubt Chester will have a decent enough budget and both are used to doing it with less cash before.

Graham Alexander recently appointed (former Scunthorpe & Fleetwood manager).

Obviously didn’t read the thread before you posted that.

Not sure if it has been mentioned - but Chester have just announced they are going part time next season.

Shame for the two managers who left jobs to go FT with Salford for only a year.

In my opinion their antics on the TV have ruined it for them, I reckon Gary Neville doesn’t see them as being professional enough to take them further up the league.

Next guess is that they will get rid of their Chairwomen, can’t see them sticking with her if they reach the FL.

They are chucking cash about already.Four in yesterday and probably quite a few more to come.Really pleased that them and their money are off our radar now but we’ll most likely see half of last seasons team at some other Manc outfit next year.
