Big food Festival on in Eindhoven over the weekend that we are all planning on landing for the Darlo game should make for a cracking atmosphere, hopefully no trouble and a good time is had by all.

Darlo play at the rather nifty kids ground. George was going to keep Feethams for kids, reserves etc, but got lost from planning permission documents.

Looks like I’m in the wrong. I didn’t expect England to get this far, so looks like I could be watching 2 games in 1 day.

I was chatting to a die hard Sunderland fan last night, who lives in Darlo and even he is going over for the weekend.

Its not far but I would think a taxi.We are doing a tour of PSVs ground ( one of the lads has organised it ) in the morning before the game, welcome to join us if you want.

At my age need to pace myself so the tour sounds great! Might be a good way of clearing the head from Friday night too.

Ps Will dm you my mobile, most of usual crew are going I think.

Jong PSV 3-1 Darlington F/t - no I wasn't at match but got it off Twitter and PSV's official website.
"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

Was a great occasion. Must have been at least 200 Darlo fans there. Really hot...hot enough for a 2/3 minute drinks break after 30 mins in both halves. Jong PSV were, as you’d expect, technically excellent and quick. We acquitted ourselves well, played some good stuff at times and created some good chances, especially in the second half. It was a good workout for the lads and a great experience for the fans.
Particularly impressed with the keeper. Trotman and O’Hanlon looked capable of playing for the opposition they were that good! Henshall looks a great find and Thommo was...Thommo
