I’d always gamble that we can get another decent keeper on loan in January. It is about that time the PL clubs will know which players aren’t being kept on from their u23s teams for the following season so probably get someone with a point to prove.loan_star wrote:I’m not too keen on a 6 month loan for a keeper. Would you be amazed if I pointed out that 2 former Darlo loanee keepers are currently in their respective World Cup squads in Russia? Obviously we do something to them & their careers! Spot on! Wouldn't surprise me if Pears went a long way in his career too. It is vital to get a settled keeper to shore up the defence, as I believe we can always score goals, but clean sheets were hard to come by last season until Pears got into the team.
