Who do we think will be the players that we’ll get for these positions?

Reckon for the Keeper, rumour is Roberts from Preston, maybe the money we’ve received from Gillies,Turnbull or Heaton deals we could tempt Boro for Pears again or maybe even go for a keeper on a permanent basis if the budget does allow.

Holding midfielder people including myself think it will be Tom Elliott and I would be pretty happy with that, but wouldn’t be surprised if we wait a little while on this to maybe see what Hughes is like in that role

Wasn't there a rumour a few weeks back that we were in for Luke George, released by Hartlepool? He's a centre mid, don't know a lot about him though.

I reckon beyond a keeper we won’t sign any others until end of July. See who impresses during pre-season friendliest when on trial.

Imagine if we sign this Tom Elliot and then another Heaton / Wheatley turns out during trial games who was previously a bit unheard of. Be sick if we couldn’t get them in the budget.

Well it wont be Pears unfortunately, as it is going to be a permanent signing

Wonder if the keeper we're in for has hit a problem, as a few times it's been said that the keeper is to revealed within a day and then nothing happens. If it is a permanent signing, then that's different from what was said before, that the keeper would be coming on loan for 6 months , so perhaps it's not going to be Roberts. Hopefully Collett will be having a say on who we recruit.

Boro would prefer Pears to go to a higher level which is understandable.
I dont think Roberts was an option either.
From what I hear, the new keeper has north east connections.

From what you hear is the new keeper an old keeper?

Quakerz - if you actually attended games and spoke to people you might actually find our facts, rather than spreading s*** on this board.

Well he's not signing for Darlo so he will be signing for Spendy. His bezzie Chandler is there as well. It's obvious.

A very predictable Ainsley signing this one, think they have 6 signed up to be announced after 30th and Russell has not signed for anyone unless he has retired.
