Post by TinShedDarloFan » Fri Jul 31, 2009 9:40 am

Livingston have been saved from the brink of extinction after the Scottish Football League backed a proposal which will allow the club to carry on.

i couldnt see the english football league being so helpful

All this is despite their nasty Italian chairman Massone ... and yeah I agree. Our FL or FA would already have Luton or Basingstoke or Ebbsfleet lined up to take our place ....

Darlo West stand 19, please add more to what you refer to.

Being a loyal Darlo fan, I lived down in Maidstone whilst all that was going on ??
be very very interested in your comments.

Welling is still, bar the boro cup game, sheff wed in the league cup (76/77) n Ronnie Ferggie's super goal, is one of the best matches I have ever been to since my first darlo match in 1971

Thank you

I think he is referring to the fact that it was Maidstone who took our place in the football league after we were relegated to the Conference. This was despite the fact that they had no ground of their own as such at the time. The FL moved heaven and earth to accomodate them regardless. Whatever .... I doubt the same rules would apply today ...

that may be the case, but remember winning at maidstone (sorry Watling Street Dartford, now a housing estate) when we - in our first year back into the football league), very very well, was sat in the main stand with a few other darlo supporters ..

What a game that was - Steve Mardenboro' bombing down the right wing with 5 minutes to go, crossing for Andy Toman to score the winner - we went nuts !
