Re: Brackley Away Sat
Is flashscore kidding we are 4-1 up
Re: Brackley Away Sat
To be 4-1 up by half time away at a team of Brackley’s quality is exceptional.
We were excellent at Spennymoor, bar one moment, and the doom mongers will be quieter tonight.

Brilliant first half, playing superb, ainge winning everything in the air, route on and they cant seem to work ainge out. Have 2/3 on him and still wins it. Only concern now is concentration. Second half with the wind so may help. Talking to one of the brackley supporters and they need promotion or owner will not support anymore, no pressure then. Cant fault anyone in that half.LoidLucan wrote:Sorry.... I think I've come on the wrong site. I was looking for the thread about the mighty Brackley v little Darlo

Aren’t the league boundaries simply set by the teams competing at a particular level rather than league boundaries dictating the number of clubs from each region eligible to complete.spen666 wrote:The big problem with the boundary was not down to Amos, but to the FA and the structure of the pyramid.
They had 2 Southern based leagues ( Isthmian League & Southern League) promoting 4 southern teams into Step 2, and only 2 Northern teams promoting teams.
NLN & NLS each relegate 3 teams, but only 2 Northern and 4 Southern teams came up so that each year the number of Southern teams at step 2 would increase. Thus pushing the boundary/ balance of clubs further south each year.
The lack of ambition and desire of NL clubs to take promotion would have steadily shifted the balance of clubs from ‘elsewhere’ at the levels above this the league boundaries shifted accordingly.
It also boils down a bit to population density as well which influences the number of clubs in existence at a level in a geography.
If NL clubs had taken promotion of the years the problem would be nowhere near as pronounced.
Re: Brackley Away Sat
Also on the game. We just need to stay switched on. If we can score 4 in a half so can they.

What a result that is get in .
Re: Brackley Away Sat
Fantastic result! Would have been happy with a draw beforehand but Burn obviously made a helluva difference and Styche got his scoring boots on. Wednesday night may be a massive goal fest v Blyth. Get yourself there
PS York and Pools both lost at home so great day all round

Great result - and another great Styche story with him pledging £50 if he scored a hat trick and duly did!
Makes up for the Curzon defeat anyway...
