Chester Tsunami....

Just wonder if we need to be doing some fundraising for the victims of the Great Chester City Flood 2018 that has devastated the football club so very, very soon after they suffered such cruel heartbreak at Blyth. Looks like it will be a long, long time before the three ceiling tiles are cleared and the ground returns to normal. Thoughts and prayers go out to them at this terrible time :D

Confused? Why so sarcastic / seemingly taking pleasure in their problem?

On a football topic, just seen the Blyth highlights and cannot remember a worst defensive display than that one, all over the place and should have been 10.

I mean, he's taking the piss because the damage is absolutely minimal, and they're using it as an excuse to rebuild after the absolute dismantling they just took from Blyth.

I thought they would be contenders this season. I may have been wrong.

I watched the highlights (or lowlights) last night. The Chester goal keeper is culprit number 1, as he looks completely disinterested and seems to be wearing boots made from an immensely heavy material.

Kidderminster were less than impressed by the postponement....

"The Harriers were hoping to cash in on the problems within the club following their shocking 8-1 defeat at Blyth Spartans on Saturday. Now with a further week to recover from that Chester will have more time to regroup and get it out of their system."

Will be interesting to see whether the beleaguered defence is beefed up with reinforcements before they play again.

to be fair there was a suggestion the electrical systems at the stadium had been damaged quite badly by water ingress but the pictures on twitter were laughable: a few polystyrene tiles broken!

Sometimes lo just needs to get a smile on that po face, like a lot of people have had over this. It does look highly suspicious after that incredible humping and disarray over the weekend... even if it is legit after all :D

I think they requested to reverse the fixture though? At least that’s what I read but could be wrong.

I wasn’t sure if I’d missed that they had made it out to be a huge hunanitarian crisis or something all I’ve seen is just that they have an issue and they need to fix it for H&S reasons...which seems pretty fair.

Seems a bit convoluted to flood an office and think that will justify a postponement. League and FA aren’t soft they will get it assessed for validity.

Think you're being a bit harsh. We wouldn't play without a safety certificate, would we?

Current name of the stadium is a bit ironic in view of the events!

Not ideal that Kidderminster will be a lot fresher this coming Saturday when they play us.
