Craig Elliott :- If (Willis) was sent off as the last man it’s not a correct decision because Ash Jackson was on the line...

The ever excellent footage from Kevin Luff demonstrates the accuracy, or not, of that particular comment:

I'm pretty sure that their keeper was sent off for serious foul play, so the last man would be irrelevant in any case.

Not that a last man rule even exists (it's "denial of a clear goalscoring opportunity" which is the rule where having a man in the way of goal *might* make a difference)

Yeah, it doesn't look that much of a dogso as his touch has more or less taken him to the corner flag. I think it must be for the horrendous, was it high challenge.

The Boston player on the line was called Griffin and he was signed by H G Wells.

Have another look at it.Harvey goes up in the air and the ball goes straight on.Certain goal if he could have avoided the dose of GBH.

It is a red herring in this instance to talk about whether he was clear through on goal because the keeper cynically chopped him in half, which was serious foul play.

Keepers can be sent off for stuff other than denying a goal scoring opportunity.

The keeper could have been sent off for that foul if he had the other 10 players behind him and in Saunders' way.

The red was definitely for the challenge, not denying a goal scoring opportunity.

Two footed, off the floor and knee high.

The challenge from their goalkeeper is an absolute disgrace. Not sure how long he'll be banned for but whatever it is, it should be longer. Its no wonder Harvey's reacted the way he did as he's lucky to come off the pitch with his knee / leg intact. For their manager to come out afterwards and say he wasn't sure why it was a red is just a piss take.

The whole team were dirty. Especially no 7 Josh Foulalot, and I thought the referee did well under the circumstances.

I hope they start to slide down the table and fail.

There keeper deserved to be sent off, if only for the fact that the annoying idiot went up the field everytime there was a foul at the other end, trying to get the Darlo player booked or sent off. Perhaps the ref was fed up with his antics.
