seriously needs to considers his position.
Re: Chester V Darlington
At the moment are there 3 worse clubs than us in the league? Nuneaton possibly, Ashton possibly.
Re: Chester V Darlington
Tempest and Johnson are the ones who need to consider his position.oldunwitkids wrote:seriously needs to considers his position.
Maybe it might happen when Nuneaton beat us next week.
Re: Chester V Darlington
It'll be a real battle of the clubs in complete disarray next Saturday. Not sure the fans will be tolerant should things not go well, even given the difficult circumstances.

Re: Chester V Darlington
Tez not happy being brought off for O'Hanlon and who can blame him also Thommo and Whitey "having words" according to the commentary. This does not sound a happy camp at all and just reinforces the many opinions that Tommy and possibly Whitey both need to call it a day and walk for the good of the club.Totally lost patience with Tommy now, it will be toxic next Saturday if we fail to beat Nuneaton.

Re: Chester V Darlington
The Chester fans saying they would like to play us every week. I'll bet they never expected such an easy ride when down to 10 men. There are a lot of problems running through our club and not just financial.

Agreed it's bad when players and management are arguing. Next week's game is crucial, can't afford to not get 3 points.

Tommy, you need to resign for the good of the club, take White with you as well.

Hopefully we've made budget cuts so we can sack him.

We need to get behind the team next week, having said that I'm working in York next weekend.

Re: Chester V Darlington
Wonder what excuses he comes up with at his PMI, everybody at fault but him.If we stick with these 2 it is relegation without a shadow of a doubt.DJ and JT have no option otherwise gates will plummetGhost_Of_1883 wrote:Tommy, you need to resign for the good of the club, take White with you as well.

Re: Chester V Darlington
I think the club needs a complete fresh break for the crucial fight in the remainder of the season. I've got no faith or trust whatsoever that TW can turn this around. We need a clean slate now to try to salvage something. That has become clear. I think he's lost the players and lost the fans completely. Urgent action is needed to give the club some hope.

Re: Chester V Darlington
See you Tommy and thanks for giving it a go. It didn't work out, too bad.
Re: Chester V Darlington
If TW has any sense of honour or shame, he will not even get on the team bus home. Resign and give someone else a chance of saving us from relegation.
Re: Chester V Darlington
Love the guy but some things just don’t work out. Wright out and Flanagan in.

Can't organise, can't motivate, can't build a solid team, can't pick a formation.
Tbh I'm not surprised he's losing the dressing room. If I knew I was going to turn up to work under someone who set me up to look sh*t every week I'd be pissed off too.
Just walk Tommy, save whatever reputation you had at the club and give us a chance to get someone in capable of doing the job.

Re: Chester V Darlington
It's the nature of the last 2 performances. Against 10 men for considerable parts of the games and we didn't even compete. Tommy said before the game he wanted players to play for the pride of the shirt. Well that worked. Anyone got John Flanagan's number.

Which Coleman?Darlo_CR wrote:Love the guy but some things just don’t work out. Wright out and Coleman in.
Re: Chester V Darlington
Tommy must go. He absolutely must. Tight budget or not, he has put together a terrible team, from scratch, and made them progressively worse.
Hiding at the end. Johnson and Morley applauded our fans - Tommy didn't. Resign, resign, resign.

I meant John Flanagan, although I’d take Chris any day! I haven’t even had a beer although I need one.Vodka_Vic wrote:Which Coleman?Darlo_CR wrote:Love the guy but some things just don’t work out. Wright out and Coleman in.

Re: Chester V Darlington
Flanagan no way Adam, listening to some of his interviews when things have not gone well he names players and quite opinionated instead of keeping it within the dressing room. This could account for his sacking. No go for me.Vodka_Vic wrote:It's the nature of the last 2 performances. Re: Chester V Darlington
Wright and White out. Today was the final straw. Result aside, 8 or 9 players showed absolutely no passion and no fight for the shirt, maybe because they know their place is safe no matter what, as we’re skint.
How do we look outnumbered with a man advantage? That’s the big concern. Sliding down the table, lose to Nuneaton next week and we will go down.

Who for you then Ron? We need someone who can organise a team and make them hard to beat.QUAKERMAN2 wrote:Flanagan no way Adam, listening to some of his interviews when things have not gone well he names players and quite opinionated instead of keeping it within the dressing room. This could account for his sacking. No go for me.Vodka_Vic wrote:It's the nature of the last 2 performances. Re: Chester V Darlington
Losing today mustn't come as a big surprise, considering Chester were 3rd in the table. Obviously losing against 10 men is bad, but it's often harder to play against 10 men than 11, especially when your chasing a game. Given our position I don't think it would be easy to recruit a ready made replacement for Tommy. Fans are talking like every non-league manager wants to manage us.
Re: Chester V Darlington
Jesus, why do I have to keep saying this? Just because we don't know who would replace him does not mean Tommy should stay in a job. He is atrocious as a manager. This is his mess, and he has no clear strategy for sorting it out. Get him gone.
Re: Chester V Darlington
I’d get rid tomorrow if I had half a clue who might come here in the current circumstances and do a job.
Re: Chester V Darlington
Well, it kinda does, what’s the point going from the frying pan into the fire? Look at the situation when Colin Todd left to be replaced by Staunton and then Liddletdk1 wrote:Jesus, why do I have to keep saying this? The players could probably organize themselves better than our management get rid now
