Possible managerial candidates

I think most of us are in the same boat of that TW needs to go so I thought I would put this thread on for people to put forward names of who they would like as a replacement.

Names I’ve thought of include:

John Flanagan- Done a great job at Curzon on a lot less than what we've got and plays a nice passing game as well.

Adam Lakeland- People seem to like young managers and this fella is doing a great job with Farsley in the league below, I can’t imagine it would cost us loads to bring him to us.

Chris Hardy- The man that near enough everyone wanted when gray left, could be worth a try to enquire to see if he’s interested this time.

Mark Bower- No chance he leaves Bradford PA to come to us I know, but it’s worth putting his name on the list.

For me realistically the man to go for is Lakeland but at the moment I think my dog would do a better job than the current management in terms of on the pitch quality.

We have someone who sits in the manager's chair, but after today's revelation he is no manager.

We have a pointless manager. The sooner TW is gone, the better.

Oh for a couple of managers like Chester's Johnson and Morley to instill fear, discipline and respect into our team.

Among those we should look at is Nick Gray of Morpeth. Great knowledge of NE football, great coach and building a fantastic record there.

After hearing Liam Hughes' interview - player manager! Seriously, if we needed an interim for a couple of weeks then him and Thommo, but I do think he needs to be captain.

For the same reason, Carl Jarrett, Marske United

Disrespectful talking about a possible new manager, I just shake my head at people on here it's ridiculous talk

What I find disrespectful is our manager admitting he can't get some player's to attend training sessions.
Player's let's not forget, whose wages are part funded by us.

You're just preparing yourself aren't you? As soon as Wright goes, you'll whinge he was hounded out.

Except he's simply totally incompetent. No tactical ability and no authority over the players he's brought to the club.

I have no sympathy for him whatsoever. He's brought the speculation on himself by being useless.

It also contradicts the 'well who do you get to replace him' argument

Will be very surprised if Tommy is not in charge for the Nuneaton game, really cannot see anything happening this week.Surely some activity on the playing front will be announced and I would think that will be it.

Nuneaton are even worse than us... he'll get a win and buy himself until February

Have you heard the phrase "what can go wrong will go wrong" ?

Standby for one of our players to be sent off for something innocuous or some other unfortunate happening.

Nuneaton have 20 first team players, I think we have 13 outfield players including Jack Vaulx, (on loan), young Mitchell Glover and Ainge who is not fit at the moment, and the possibility of O'Hanlon being transferred being mentioned on this board already, so a touch short. Which leaves us with a problem if any injuries or sickness before this Saturday, and no strength on the bench making it even harder for the team. Lets hope TW can get a couple of quality loans in, (his goalkeeper loans have been good so here's hoping).

Also shows how tight finances must be if we can only afford to have a basic squad with just enough to field a team and the bottom of the league can have 20 players. Its going to be a hard year.
