Home A and Away A look good to me.
I especially like the new proposed Home Strip. I wonder how long it will take for the inevitable "Conference" jibes to start...

I'm with Hilly on this one, Home A and Away A
Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
Should light the Conference up!
Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
Didn't take long then...
Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
Credit where credit is due, whoever has selected those four kits has done an excellent job.
Definitely Home A and Away A for me too.

It's Clobberin' Time
Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
I think I would have to agree with Home A & Away A. All very nice though.
Btw, its says that Staunton narrowed down the choices.

Home A for sure. Away kit I'm not too sure about. Probably A. But B looks alright too I think, even though it's blue and white. I like the sound of the first prize too

I like the look of shirt A & the sky blue B away shirt. At least it has hoops.

Home A looks a good call, although theres not much wrong with Home B either. Cant go wrong with black and white hoops! Away A is a given really, playing in blue and white would be a bit of a piss take.

Home A, Away A
That home kit looks great. I'm not a huge fan of the hoops, and have never actually owned a darlo home strip since Feethams (much prefer the away kits usually) but that one looks good, and I would definately buy it. The Coventry-esque away kit though.... no thanks

Are the people voting for away kit B nuts? Playing in the same colours as our local rivals - no thanks.
It says it all that both Darlo Pete & Andy Park think its a good choice!

All the kits look smart. I actually quite like the pale blue and white one but I suppose it is a no go so A and A for me to.
I do like the idea of hooped home and away kits though. I used to like the green and black one from the mid 90s

Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
The red away shirt looks naff in my opinion. The away blue shirt is sky blue, which is a completely different blue from poolies normal colours. Perhaps RP suffers from colour blindness.

Gotta be red away kit !
Also option A for the home kit.

Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
The problem I have with the red away kit is that it looks a bit like a training top, as opposed to an actual kit, if that makes sense. Away A will probably win anyway, so I don't know why I'm thinking long and hard about this decision On a side note, I presume that DBS are in the pictures as shirt sponsors, just so that there is a sponsor, and not that they are actually the sponsor for next season? Or have I missed an announcement somewhere.

Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
I'd be less concerned about our sharing colours with Hartlepool than by the amount of white that's on Away 'B': we'd need a third kit as well. Assuming we're going down, five current Conference clubs play in white shirts - I can't see the point in us having an away kit we'd hardly ever have occasion to use.
Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
Its blue and white - its a no go . End of.

It's very Newcastle-esque if you ask me.

Its hoops not stripes, completely different.Hilly wrote:It's very Newcastle-esque if you ask me.
Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
Its good that we are actually getting to choose ourselves this time. In my opinion though, any shade of blue is too close to that of our chimp choking neighbours!! Option A for me for the home kit and A for the away one, although Id like to see an away one based on the home kit in red & white which I think could look good.
Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
A and A for me I think that the club deserve a pat on the back for this campaign Darlo fans are very quick to have a pop at the club more often it is deserved but on this occaision well done Darlo and Raj Singh.
Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
Do they have kits in non league football?
I thought it was just bibs, or in the summer months tops V skins.......

Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
id go for A & A - its a bit naughty tho, especially when we changed kits in the summer, we are still in a recession, normally we used to have the kits for 2 seasons, i'll buy them anyway, but some fans may not be able to affort it, just a thought
Re: Darlo kits for next season - public vote
My Vote: Home A and Away A
I think they are both very stylish tops, I'm loving the idea of the hoops and a swish coming down the side of the Home A, and the back looks very good also. Home B is too similar to last seasons home top and what's with the black square on the back, looks terrible.
I think the red away top does look a bit like a training top but as a kit I would have no qualms with it and would easily buy it. As for the blue one, it looks ok but it's just dull
