I don't believe he can, in fact I have given up on Wright, largely stopped listening to his interviews and just watch the match now in the hope the players can pull something together and get us a few wins.

I enjoyed yesterdays game, we looked a threat and were entertaining enough, other than that we look like we just send 11 players out and hope they produce something.
Im the same, the 3 subs fiasco was mind blowing.

There must be a big horrible b@stard available somewhere to play CB and/or CDM surely?

Can only pray Darlo beat those around them now and that we can extend some of the loan signings as they looked class.

Yesterday was a positive move forward, against a side at the top of it's form. I'd have taken a draw before the game started. Now a couple of good results against York and we'll definitely be moving in the right direction.

Most people would have taken a draw before the game if it had finished 0.0 or we had come back from a goal down. But to piss a two goal lead away AGAIN is not acceptable.

I haven’t had the time to count, but I’d love to know how many points we’ve thrown away from winning positions. Easily double figures.

Darlington FC 2-3 Harrogate Town (FA Trophy) (Leading 1-0)
Darlington FC 1-2 York City (Leading 1-0)
Alfreton Town 1-1 Darlington FC (Leading 1-0)
Darlington FC 2-2 Chorley (Leading 1-0)
Darlington FC 2-4 Southport FC (Leading 1-0)
Stockport County 1-1 Darlington FC (Leading 1-0)

Darlington FC 1-2 Curzon Ashton (Leading 1-0)
Spennymoor Town 2-2 Darlington FC (Leading 1-0 & 2-1)
Leamington 2-2 Darlington FC (Leading 2-0)
Bradford Park Avenue 2-2 Darlington FC (Leading 2-0)
Chorley FC 3-2 Darlington FC (Leading 1-0)
Altrincham 3-3 Darlington FC (Leading 1-0 & 3-1)

Think that amounts to 29 points.

Just watched the highlights and couldn't believe how easily they sliced through our midfield, hardly any protection for our back 3.Why is Kokolo playing at left wing back when he is a left midfielder, again Tommy playing someone out of position, why not O'Hanlon there. Not convinced with some of Maddison's positioning either, particularly the 2nd and we could easily have lost it at the death We need to bring in Hughes and Ainge when fit to make us more physical and add much needed experience as we do have some talented players on loan and are still learning. We can beat York with the players we have ONLY if Tommy gets the shape and formation right but cannot see him changing his preferred system and worryingly. York play with 2 wingers so looks like we will need to score 3 or 4 to get the win.

His own club say he’s a defender

I stand to be corrected as he played in midfield in his first game and looked more of an attacking player than defender. But we have O'Hanlon to fill that role so why double up when we are crying out for a solid central midfielder.

Good stattage. And that's 14 points this season alone so far.

Very worrying, but as soon as Altrincham got their 2nd before half time, you deep down knew what was coming.

I don't think you'd have fancied us for the win even when we were two up. We don't planto win matches, we just let goals happen and see who has more after 90 minutes.

I feel a lot more positive than I did after Nuneaton. scoring 5 against 2nd and 3rd away is more than credible.

Don't think we are miles off and I'm looking forward to the festive fixtures.

find it funny when I read people say they think we will get beat 4-1 then we get a 3-3 draw and we are a disgrace. Bit of perspective needed sometimes

The realistic perspective is that a narrow defeat to 2nd and a draw to 3rd is currently not good enough - and that's because all of the draws and defeats from the rest of the season are coming home to roost.

Simple, we need to be going to places like 2nd and 3rd and winning right now, and that is TW's and AW's and the players fault.

Only wins are now good enough, no matter who the opposition are.

And let's face it, our next two matches are at home so we will get bummed as usual. Then where are we?

On that basis we need to win every game remaining. I understand the issues with TW and AW and to an extent I agree but a draw away to 3rd is still a good result in my view. He will of course be judged a lot more on the next 2/3. I’d expect at least 4 from the next 2 if not all 6.

And had those 14 points not been throw away, or even 11 of them, we would be in a play off position. Precisely where our budget dictates we should be and the CEO expected us to be.
I think TW would benefit from a more experienced footballing brain to turn to for advice and guidance, which might prevent some of his more bizarre decisions and get our half decent football team organised. Any suggestions. ?

It was inevitable.

And also rather worringly, this season already includes 3 leads of 2 goals thrown away, compared to none last year.

Budgets dictate sod all. York and Southport are evidence of that. I doubt ours guaranteed a play off place either. A hope maybe.

Millwall, 1-0 down Neil Harris makes a triple substitution in the 63rd minute and they win 2-1. So it can work in your favour!!

A bit of a difference who they bought on though compared to what we had to bring on
